That picture looked like I had downs so I put up the only other one I could find, on my computer. My friend took it two Thanksgivings ago. See that gut? It’s almost gone. Oh, and that’s my mother. She’s 80.
WHAT GUT?! Mom looks great– RYC: shop is only 4 hours away from Portland. :0)
a beautiful picture of two graceful women! currants? they’re better than raisins… slightly! i am a picky picky picky person! *grinz!
Yes, yes, yes, that’s it! That’s exactly as I imagined you! Only, yes, a little leaner these days – it’s all that working out at the gym, no? xo
Hi, nice to finally see ya’. I’m Onigiriman.
Nice meeting you and your mom!
Cool. You look just like I imagined you. Crazy. You are brave to have your picture up. I’m still sticking with my favorite Vermeer painting.
I guess since I’m on my city’s Metros, and my name isnt’ too stealthy, it would be easier for people to find me. The picture would be inconcequental. (god I wish I could spell). Maybe I should just put up a picture…hmmm…
*sare*
How very neat to see you. I always love finally glimpsing someone I’ve only pictured in my head.
Oh how lovely! While looking at both pics, it’s your smile that I notice first, how bright and inviting and warm. Thank you for sharing!
…you are your mother’s daughter, quite a resemblance…it’s nice to put a face to the blog…
Yay! I love to see what Xangans look like. You and your mother are both very elegant.
that is a wonderful pic of you and your mom. wonderful. for yourself, try looking straight into the mirror and not angling the camera. if you want me futz with one to get something out of the backgound, email it to me and i’d be delighted. i love futzing with pics.
RYC: I’ve gone to many writing classes including the University of Iowa’s summer program. I really can’t summarize everything I’ve learned there, but it takes some serious study to do a good novel. I’m not sure what else to to tell you. Experiment. Buy “The Writer’s Journey” by Christopher Vogler. Definitely take a class. The worst that can happen is that you’ll meet some fabulous writers.
Best, Lynn
i love his writing style. it is daring, engaging, and pure fun. i don’t know if it’s real or not, but he qualifies as a genius in my book. i haven’t left a comment yet bc i always read his stuff about six times before i do… i’m not sure exactly what you are asking me tho? give me a hint.
lol.. i’ve assumed it was semi-autobiographical fiction since the story about the dwarf and the party. i do love it though. i told you the kid’s a genius! a pure genius!!!
