  • It’s not ravioli I’m trying to make it’s a Chinese thing.  I got mushrooms, ginger, carrots, onion, cabbage; stuff like that.  And I should probably put in a little chicken.  I don’t know what binds it together.  Anyway you place a dollop of that on the bottom and lay the top square on, and for some reason the edges seal with a little water and some pressure.  I’m going to try steaming them.  I have some plum sauce I can spread on the wrappers.  Yum, doesn’t it sound good?

  • wontons or something like paper wrapped chicken?

    You make such interesting things.

  • dumplings? chinese dumplings? or the japanese version in which you use one wrapper, hold in the palm of your hand, twist close after dampening? either way- sounds yummy!!!!

  • aw, Potstickers! or Gyoza :0) Yummy- I love anything Asian.

  • Sounds yum and not at all bipolar. I guess its the WW that’s got points on the brain, though! Have fun with it, sounds like you’re off to a good start!

  • all I know is I am soooo hungry now
Pru may I have some when u finish?

  • It’s fun reading when you mention names like Beaverton. I used to go up there on business. And I grew up in Lake Oswego…well, ’till age 5. And yes, the mad lady really had an effect on me. It shows you how affected if I say I almost just turned around and went home. But I’d planned on hitting the local bookstore and eating a sandwich. My big “getting out of the house” day. This working from home is great and suits the kids and all right now but it makes me a bit stir crazy now and then. I really hate conflict. ;)   I just avoid it whenver possible. Used to drive the ex crazy, who much preferred yelling and arguing.

  • yum! what time do we come over for dinner? :) thanks for your nice comments about my work. enjoy your weekend.

  • That sounds like dumplings to me.  I so love them, dipped in soy sauce!

How did they turn out?  I have a smallish kitchen, so I’m not into making anything that requires more counterspace that I have available.  (I really must do something about that.)

That’s soo very good that you found a potential friend!  Since I gave one up (she didn’t call all week, so I’m guessing my instincts were right on that one, too), my boyfriend is now going to get to do some things with me that I’ve just done with her…namely, look at things to buy!  Poor guy…hehehehe…

    I love you…GFW

  • I am hoping whatever it was turned out great…I *smile*
