Putting away the groceries, I found things I didn’t buy: A six-pack of Miller beer, a plastic container that said Lays on it but the plastic was so thick I can’t imagine there would be potato chips in there, a bunch of candy bars and five things of yogurt. I might have to go get one of those candy bars. I called the store but nobody answered. I feel terrible for the people, but it was too far to drive back. I’ll call tomorrow.
I just tried one of the candy bars. Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme. Fortunately (there are five more in there) I didn’t like it.

I think you should just keep them and enjoy them. Everything in life balances out eventually…

we shall get drunk and eat candy

i’m laughing at the combination- beer, junk food and yogurt! someone is gonna be unhappy! i’ve never found myself w/so much extra! check your receipt and see if they charged you for those stomach turning items- maybe they’ll give you your money back!!!
Okay – how did the things from MY cart jump waaaay over there into yours?? At least I got home with my coffee.

Thanks for subing to my site. I love reading other writer’s blogs and have subed to yours. I write some long hand, mostly short stories.
Enjoy the candy and yogurt!
One time I found five pounds of provolone in my grocery bag instead of the ricotta cheese. I was upset because I don’t even know what provolone was. The store told me to keep it, as it was deli-goodness.
*sare*
still rofl… never occurred to me to read it that way! i was just playing with words!
yep- Rolling On the Floor Laughing!
Thats too amusing. Of course if I were the other people who bought and then got home to find missing items I’d be peeved. Of course the store is to blame, but what a whacky mixup.
Are you sure you didn’t subconsciously put all that stuff in your cart?… Hmmmm… Beer, chips and candy. Sounds like you should have a party! hehehe…
Yummy…chips and candy…
