  • WANTED:  STOCK BUDDY

MyKi_Whatzerface :  I want to find someone I can bounce ideas off of.  I’m trying new things like buying half of a position.  Also I’m experimenting with, instead of selling when a stock drops, buying more if I feel sure it will go back up.  I’m snooping around recent IPOs and stocks hovering below the $10 mark.  I’m trying out foreign stocks.  Hedge funds and lots of individual, newbie investors like me have changed the market, especially since Jim Cramer’s “Mad Money” came on the scene.  I am struggling with much of the lingo I read.  I want someone who trades internationally.  I just read that Japanese bonds are the way to go. The market is so scary these days; I need a pal to commiserate with.  I need a buddy to help scheme with.    I’m looking for someone who is good on the phone or doesn’t mind typing.

  • Whoah!  It’s a whole new box I’m writing in.  Since I’m cheating this must not count as a true post; I’ll be quick.

I’ve never been happier.  I vote this the best summer ever.

I highly recommend not blogging.  I think it detracts from the experience of living, at least if you’re a writer.

I need a stock buddy bad.  I’m going to place an ad somewhere but I don’t know where.  Any ideas?

I’ve gained five pounds:  large slice of lemon loaf cut into small chunks, one peach cut up, one carton of raspberry yogurt.  Smear that all together and you’ve got what I’ve eaten every day for one week.

Bob, if you’re reading this don’t freak but I bought Palm, more Zoltec (I know it’s bad to average down but this time it’s working out) Under Armour, SUNW, G E, IGT, BOOM, News Corp, UNH, Pozen, Guiliad, and Andrew Corp.  I haven’t worked on the book since I became convinced the market was going back up.  That was three weeks ago.  But the good new is that in between the time I quit blogging and started trading like a crazy person I pretty much finished the first draft.

I’m eating out of my back yard:  pears, plums, figs, tomatoes…

I’m going out ALL THE DAMN TIME to our local blues bar with my new friends D and J.  They are best friends and live next door to each other.  Lots of dancing with R, too.  We’re going out tonight.

Thanks for being so loyal and continuing to check in on me.  I had no idea I’d be gone so long.  I’m still not back, really.  I hope.
