  • Just sent my article in and am getting drunk on left-over booze.  My first annual Christmas dinner was a huge success and I have the dishes to prove it.

  • Congrats on you party.

  • Woohoo! Now be careful with those dishes, they get slippery when you’re drinking. Or at least they do when I am.

  • Yippee, and it’s not a big dick, yet the rush in handling it is similar.

  • Bon travail! Looking forward to some Christmas dinner details should you choose to share, and yay for submitting the article!

  • The comment that I just left on NYCJOYCE’s site about football, huddles, hunting skills, and Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon atavistic yearnings, might actually make you smirk and snicker.

  • Ha. The leftover booze is one of the big benefits from hosting these things! Congrats on the article AND the dinner.

  • RYC: I’m going to Amy’s for a super secret fitting of our seventies outfits for the parent’s 40th wedding anniversary in Janurary. We will be blinding with the fabric that she chose. We’ll get pics up of that. It will be good for a laugh for sure. And right back at you with the reading. Much love to you!

  • belated holiday greetings. hope you’re doing well. glad your dinner was a success. i’m resting after one here myself. gotta love the holidays :)

  • Wunnerful, wunnerful.  If I didn’t have to get up and celebrate my brother-in-law’s 50th birthday tomorrow I’d join you for a couple of gin & tonics myself!

  • FIRST annual. NICE!! :)

  • Changed it! I really like your visiting and I truley understand about dizzying stuff! I changed my font so we can read it better! LOL! The background isn’t what I want for now…I’ll change it later. Hugs…Lana

  • Enjoy! Thanks for the kind comments! Off to my interview and snowboarding :)

  • RYC—WHEN i watch girls gymnastics…and that’s what it is, GIRLS…i don’t want some GUY telling me—WOW, that’s a difficult move.  How the fuck would HE know  That’s akin to having Mike Tyson telling me what’s the latest in theoretical physics

Xmas here was pretty cool…the kids had a ball, and THAT is what really counts

  • In a nutshell, gout is caused by a buildup of uric acid in particular joints, ie the big toe, knees, wrists, elbows, etc.  It’s a kidney disfunction.  Genetic disposition.  Docs used to prescribe special diets, but the newest research shows that it really isn’t so much a diet thing.

Cherries are known for sweeping the uric acid from the body during an attack.  Husband is loaded for bear in that department.  Low fat milk products are known for prevention (this is a new update).

Husband would rather do the preventative/natural methods than get on medication as the side effects can be worse than gout.  He has an internist that agrees with his methodology.  The biggest drawback to this way verses drugs is the obvious pain related to gout.  Lucky for Husband he has an extremely high tolerance for pain.  Yet, it still hurts….

  • I see mountains of dishes which means tons of fun..wish I had been a mouse in the house for that feast! marilyn

  • yay:) glad it all went well:)

  • Hope you enjoyed the booze as I know the dirty dishes weren’t enjoyed!
Glad your dinner was a success.
Happy holidays and thank you for your Chrismas Greeting.

    Peace and Love:)

  • Glad it went well.  I just drank the last of my wine.  Dangit!
