I see what you mean about showing , not telling.
I would love to take a creative writers calss, would be fun. I am fightng panic right now , gotta get it gone.
An interesting pint you brought up, maybe I have been inside so long i see things differently .Thats a thought to ponder.
    Hope your day is nice.

    Peace and Love:)

  • Pru, I must advise you to watch Rocker:INXS on tv tonight.  My youngest got me watching as they are searching for a new lead singer.  OH MY GOD,,Marty Casey will strick thunder into you, bring something to you that you have possibly never, ever experienced.  He is blonde with smoldering eyes and a voice that will seduce you beyond any dream you could have.  His stage presence along with the heart he throws into each word is unbelievable.  They are on Wed and Thurs night for an hour…oh please watch.  I haven’t been this enthralled since I witnessed the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show!!

  • ON the writing I was waiting for a different word for the orange, not sure what it would be either.

  • I must concur with Maggie above..Rockstar INXS is a GREAT show even if you don’t like INXS or never heard of them. The talent is amazing. I’m stuck between choosing Marty or JD, hehe…. anyway, looking forward to coming back & reading from your book.

  • Loving your writing! I’ll be back for more! Take care.

  • Hope you don’t think that YOUR TIME on Xanga will translate into sales when you eventually publish…but then again, women have a more supportive audience  In MY case i built an unloyal audience that thought my off-the-cuff musings here was above the norm, but WHEN i released the book that they were all clamouring to read…nada

i’ll buy your book though, since i think you’ve talent & i CAN back up that belief with a measely purchase…but THAT is not the norm here

  • ryc: I should write, I just lack the discipline. And likely I will see my friends once this weekend. She’s working odd hours during her training at the hospital.

  • One of these days I need to find time to read your book postings from the beginning.  I like the way you evoke this scene.

RYC: I wouldn’t say I was harassed per se.  He only sent me the one email, but he didn’t include his Xanga name and I didn’t want to reveal my email address by responding directly to his email address.

  • RYCs….nothing beats the rabid domiciled DOG that bites you into the reality of life
