I just tried to copy and paste a card I made last Valentine’s day. I designed it myself. Well, maybe I had a little help. But between my youngest and I, it turned out really well. You’ll have to take my word for it.
She’s in the bathroom piercing her cartillage as she calls it. So now she has dreads and when she comes out of the bathroom she’ll have five earings all together, all on the ears so far. Her Dad’s gonna be upset but she doesn’t think he’ll notice.
She went online and bought a kit so now she does all the kids at school. That’s how she …she just came out.

Ah, piercings, yes. My daughter came home at 13 with her nose done, but it stayed red for nearly a year, a constant fight against infection, and she finally let it grow in. All of her ear piercings (4 I think) underwent the same torturous process, having to get them done a few times…
That dance sounds awesome. I didn’t come to dance until 45. So it’s still an exciting learning process. I’m not aware of what my body can’t do now that it could have done when younger, which is probably good. I’ve always wanted to take lessons, but (except for some ballet at age 7) never have.
Or does a sample bellydance class count? -:)
BTW, if your Valentine’s card is on your computer, you can upload it to a free hosting site. Photobucket is good; presently I’m favouring ImageShack (it creates a direct link from the verifying email to your ImageShack site, no passwords necessary). Once you have a photo or picture uploaded, you copy the Tag line – the one that starts with <img src=http://
With Image Shack you might have to go back to your Image panel to find it under the link for “Sites”-
Anyway, you copy that whole line, and go to your entry, and to the “html” option on an entry box, paste in the link, and hit “submit” and viola! – your image shows up in your post!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, you beautiful woman! xo
I had my nose pierced around 3 years ago (professionally), but the earring seemed too big, and was very hard to remove, so let it grow back. I’d like to get it done again, but this time with a more manageable post. My daughter (13) is begging to get her cartilages pierced-she has a friend that can do it. Maybe I will let her. Back in 1968, I got my ears pierced by a friend. When my dad found out, he was furious. He was so old-fashioned that he still believed only ‘wanton’ women had that done! Geez.
Happy Valentines Day, and as someone else stated,..”GO,..you luverly lady!!”
Oh man. Well there’s suspense. I hope she’s ok. I went through a “I’ll pierce it myself” phase and pierced friends, etc. Don’t ask me why.
